The Quasi-static testing facility
has been recently created at the Department . The facility comprises of
two 3m high reaction walls, strong floor, 3 servo-hydraulic actuators,
hydraulic power supply and digital control system. The facility can be
utilized for conducting quasi-static tests on structural models/components
to study their hysteretic behaviour. .
