Roorkee and within Situated in the foot hills of the Himalaya, Roorkee is very close to pilgrimage places and centres of tourist attraction like Hardwar, Rishikesh, Mussoorie etc. Roorkee is located on the Amritsar -Howrah main line of Northern Railway and is well connected by road to Delhi, De hradun, Hardwar, Rishikesh and other places in Punjab and Haryana.
