    Eligibility Requirements

    (i) The admissions are open only to INDIAN NATIONALS irrespective of sex, race, creed and class.

    (ii) There is no age restriction for appearing at this examination.

    (iii) The minimum educational qualification for appearing at the REE-99 is any of the following:

    (a) Intermediate science examination, 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or Geology of any recognised Board or University in the Union of India.

    (b) B.Sc. Examination of all statutory Universities in India with Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry, provided that Chemistry or Physics, as the case may be, has been taken in the Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination of the Board / University.

    (c) B.A. (Honours) Mathematics examination of Delhi University provided science subjects were taken in the Higher Secondary examination.

    (d) First year examination of the 3 year degree course of all statutory Universities in India with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Geology conducted by the University or by a constituent (or affiliated) college and recognized by the statutory University for promotion to second year.

    (e) First year examination of 5 years integrated course of all statutory Universities or recognized Institutes in India.

    (f) Pre-engineering, pre-professional or 2 years pre-University pre-degree examination of all statutory Universities in India with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

    (g) Diploma in Engineering or Architecture examination of the Board of Technical Education, U.P. or of other recognized Boards or Universities in Indian Union.

    (h) Intermediate science examination of Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

    (i) Higher School certificate examination of the Cambridge University with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

    (j) The general certificate of education examination of the University of London with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at advanced level.

    (k) Diploma examination of Woodstock School, Mussoorie with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. .

    (l) Senior Secondary School Certificate of National Open School, Delhi.

    (iv) Candidates who have appeared or are due to appear at any of the qualifying examinations mentioned above are also eligible to apply and appear at the REE -99 but their final selection for admission to the University will be subject to their passing the requisite qualifying examination and production of documentar y evidence thereof at the time of counselling.

    The candidate is entirely responsible to prove his / her eligibility for admission to B.E. / B.Arch. courses.
