    QUALIFYING PAPER - GUIDELINES

    (i) The Qualifying paper will be objective type having 100 questions. There will be two Sections I and II. Section I will have 60 questions and Section II will have 40 questions.

(ii) Section I will have Four possible answers to each question of which only one is correct. Section II will also have Four possible answers to each question of which more than one are correct.

(iii) There will be an O.M.R. Answer Sheet which will be evaluated by Computer and is to be used carefully. Complete and accurate marking on this sheet is, therefore, extremely important. Instructions given below should be carefully followed :

    (a) Use HB pencil only for darkening the circles.

    (b) Do not use H, 2H / HH or 3H pencils. The mark made by such hard pencils will be too light and will not be read by the computer.

    (c) Do not use a soft pencil like 2B / BB, 3B etc. The mark will be too dark and in case one wants to change the answer by erasing the first answer, it will leave dark mark in and around the circle of the erased answer. The computer will read such marking and result may be affected.

    (d) Do not use ink pen or ball pen to mark your answers.

    (iv) Method of Marking Answers

    (a) To answer any question, the candidate will be required to darken the circle (or circles), by using HB pencil, corresponding to the answer(or answers) he / she thinks to be correct against the serial number of the question.

    (b) It should be carefully noted that the circles should be dark and be filled in as completely as possible.

    (c) The candidate can correct any answer wrongly marked by him / her. Erase with good quality rubber (eraser) completely the already darkened circle and then darken the correct new circle.
